The Wild Sheep Foundation is a conservation organisation dedicated to rehabilitating wild sheep populations that shrank into historical lows in the North of America in the 1950s and 1960s; established in 1977, and later known as Foundation for North American Wild Sheep (FNAWS). The Wild Sheep Foundation and its Chapters and Affiliates actively fund initiatives across North America and beyond to achieve their purpose and mission, with private funding from its members and proceeds from an annual conference called The Sheep Show®. The overarching strategic objective of WSF is to enhance the effective management, accessibility, use and support of wild sheep populations and their habitats across the globe by interested parties involved.
