In 1988 we held our first Toy & Train Collectors Fair at Cirencester, with 40 stalls and with the help of my wife Christine and our 2 children, Dan and Kirsty, Christine’s Mum, Chris and Ray Stone, it was a great success and the 2nd one was even better with 60 stalls, they were great times.
I had the Bug then, there was nothing like this at the Royal Bath & West Showground, so off I went full of hope and they hauled us in with open arms. The first one in what was then “Boxers” held 40 stalls, the next one again 60 stalls and Boxers was crammed full. So then into the Showering Pavilion, 100 stalls and then 150 and it went on and on, the rest is history. We now organise Shepton, Exeter and Thornbury now Mega Malvern toy fairs. We have met so many truly wonderful people over the last 30+ years and really hope to see so many more. Why not stick your head in the door and say ” Happy 30 years”.
