The Zentralverband Oberflächentechnik eV (ZVO) represents the interests of German electroplating and surface technology contract coaters, in-house coaters, raw and process suppliers, system manufacturers, component manufacturers, and service providers. Its member companies work in the field of metal or metal compound surface finishing using liquid process media. The ZVO is the central point of contact for economic, environmental, energy, and educational issues relating to electroplating and surface technology for customer industries, politics, and authorities. Together, we are more powerful. In recent years, modern electroplating and surface technology has evolved into a key industry with growing economic and ecological significance. It ensures the reliable operation of various components, contributes to the dazzling appearance of many end products, and prevents corrosion and wear damage worth billions of euros each year.
