Worth a thousand words: An introduction to the botanical art collections in the RHS Lindley Library: Lecture by Charlotte Brooks

The worlds of science and art come together in art collections of the RHS Lindley Library. Representing 400 years of botanical illustrations, the heritage collections are complemented by works from contemporary award-winning botanical artists. What are we seeing when we look at a piece of botanical art? What makes a Gold medal picture? Ms Brooks will explore these and other questions in this talk.
