UK Catalysis Conference 2022

The UK Catalysis Conference (UKCC) is the most significant UK event in the field of Catalysis Science and Technology, organised jointly by the UK Catalysis Hub, the Royal Society of Chemistry’s special interest groups SURCAT and Applied Catalysis. The UKCC 2022 will be held in Loughborough, United Kingdom, from January 5th to 7th, 2022, and is the 8th annual meeting in the series. Students, scientists, researchers, and engineers working in a variety of multidisciplinary fields relevant to the chemical industry as well as those involved in environmental protection, sustainable energy production, and the development of new renewable chemical platforms will have a chance to meet and network at the conference. This year’s conference, UKCC 2022, will be held in Holywell Park, Loughborough, UK, and we plan on returning to a face-to-face format.

Through the Catalysis Hub, EPSRC hopes to establish in the UK an internationally leading, comprehensive and coordinated catalytic science programme; develop new knowledge and promote innovation in and translation of catalytic science; enable the UK to regain and maintain its world-leading position in catalysis through the promotion of innovation and translation. At its physical centre at Harwell's Research Complex, the Hub opened in April 2013 with a programme of initial scientific projects beginning in July 2013.
