Forward Texas: Community Health and Well-Being, the theme of this year’s TAMEST Annual Conference, will examine how Texas can build healthy communities for the future, with a focus on health care, housing, infrastructure, and infectious disease. Forward Texas will bring together our research community in order to identify the needs of Texas communities in order to be strong and successful. It’ll be a good chance to look back on our state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, see how the virus has affected our communities over the long term, and talk about the creative solutions and interventions that came about as a result.
