The Future of Journalism Risks, Threats and Opportunities

On September 23-24, 2021, Cardiff University’s School of Journalism, Media and Culture (JOMEC) will host the eighth biennial Future of Journalism conference.

In light of COVID-19 and social distancing, the conference will be held virtually for the time being. However, if conditions change and time permits, we plan to hold a hybrid conference, with part of it taking place in JOMEC’s state-of-the-art headquarters in Cardiff’s city centre. Overcoming Obstacles in Journalism will be the theme for 2021.
