The Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 1996 on the initiative of Georgia's vegetable and fruit growers. The organization's main goal is to solve the general problems that growers face and to further advancement in this field by funding research and implementing better marketing strategies. The organization's name is abbreviated as GFVGA. The headquarters of this organisation are in LaGrange, Georgia. The Directors of the organisation are in charge of the organization's management. Dick Miner is the current President of the GFVGA. Many trade shows and events are held to support the organization's goals. In January 2013, the organisation will host the Southeast Regional Conference and Tradeshow for the benefit of the growers.
