Pedestrian Protection – Test Procedures

A thorough understanding of test requirements is a must for successful pedestrian protection implementation. This seminar covers all test methods as defined by the EU pedestrian protection regulation and Euro NCAP’s pedestrian protection assessment, both in theory and in practise. The basics and technical details of the regulation and test protocols are explained in concise presentations. Test preparation, vehicle marking, test point selection, impactor handling, and actual testing with head and legform impactors are all examples of practical exercises performed in the BASt test lab.
