Dues to the Conference on Northeast Aquaculture, the Conference & Exposure of North East Aquaculture (NACE) and the Milford Aquaculture Seminar (MAS) are being postponed until 12-14 January 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lack of opportunity to meet 500–600 people this January 2021. Our meeting and room reservation contract was extended graciously to the year following by the Holiday Inn by the Bay, Portland ME, and a major redecoration of its facilities was recently completed. In January 2022, we look forward to convening the next NACE/MAS in Portland. In order to bring together producers, service providers, vendors, researchers, students and managers from all over the North-East Region to discuss pressing issues and the relevant research on water and aquaculture in the region, the Biennial Northeast Aquaculture Conference (NACE) has been established in 1998.

The Maine Aquaculture Association (MAA) is a non-profit trade association which is a national, federal and international representative of the Maine aquaculture industry. Our members produce fine fish, cosy and seafood. Since 1978, we have been working to support Maine's aquatic farmers to develop business practises that are economically and environmentally sustainable, promote aquaculture benefits in the local food system and preserve Maine's heritage from an actively working waterside.
