The HBA was established in 1977 by Diane Anderson Peg Dougherty Millicent Gryczka Sheila Sinkking and Ruth Smith. This organization is considered to be the prime drive for the advancement of women in healthcare. Boasting of being represented by more than 6000 members and over 120 corporate partners this organization is known to provide a large variety of programs and opportunities.
