International Breastfeeding Conference

The Healthy Children’s Project is the leading national provider of education for healthcare providers through its Center for Breastfeeding. The call for abstracts for the 27th Annual Breastfeeding & Lactation Conference at Deerfield Beach FL, 12-14 January, 2022, is made available with extreme caution, unlimited hope and gladness. We encourage practicers, scholars and students to submit abstracts for oral presentations or poster sessions to a true meeting of minds that convey new knowledge and teach crucial skills. The abstracts should show how human lactation, breastfeeding, and research are applied. Abstracts may describe contributions to human lactation theory, completed or in progress work, breastfeeding or research management, or suggested application to other issues of health of human lactation and breastfeeding. For professional breastfeeding and lactation workers, our annual conference is essential. It is a true meeting of minds, which transmits new understanding, teaches essential skills and connects you to a supporting community.

The 1993 Healthy Children Project, which aims at enhancing child health outcomes with public, private and not-for-profit agencies, was created as a non-profit institution for research and education. Healthy Children Project took over responsibility for education services that Health Education Associates Inc. has been offering since 1976. The Healthy Children's Project is the leading national provider of education for healthcare providers through its Center for Breastfeeding. More than 4,000 medical providers, advocates and facilitators are trained through more than 90 offers in the United States annually. They cover five-day courses, certificate courses, workshops, seminars, self-study modules and conferences, both national and international. Educational offering takes place in hospitals, women, childcare programmes, training facilities for the health department, colleges and other adult education locations.
