In the last few months, travelling has certainly been challenging. We also have colossal creativity and flexibility—companies which have met the challenges and are moving on shaped by the wishes and expectations of tourists, including an increasing interest in curated journeys, such as group travel. Without considering how the pandemic affected clients and partners, you can’t go ahead completely. Heartland provides access to the smaller provider that may not participate in the larger national exhibitions. Pike County Tourism CVB is pleased to have the opportunity to partner with the Heartland Travel Showcase to advance the country of the Hatfield and McCoy’s and everything from East Kentucky. We are pleased to be able to offer a rotating regional show in the Hatfield and McCoy area. In the past few years, we have seen our travel market increase with diligent work and cooperation which brings owner/operators to Heartland Travel Showcase discussions with DMOs.
