This Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) is aimed at engineers and supervisors who already have prior understanding of well construction methods but who would benefit from a more detailed knowledge of completion design. The VILT will concentrate on the important aspects of completion design and what makes a safe and efficient well, using practical examples, presentations, videos, and animations.
The exercises are based on data taken from a single field and participants will be required to work through all the basic issues of a completion design. At the end of the VILT, participants will be grouped into teams who will then present their completion designs to a ‘management committee’. There is no ‘right’ answer to a completion design hence this makes for interesting discussions!
