CIDR Conference

A systematic conference, which complements its mission to the mainstream data base conferences such as SIGMOD and VLDB, emphasises the system’s perspective on systems architecture, is the annual Conference on Innovative data systems research. CIDR brings together both academics and practitioners to discuss the latest innovative and visionary ideas. We encourage contributions to new approaches to systems, architecture and use of data management. CIDR encourages innovative and risky ideas on data management systems, system building and insights, resourceful experimental studies and provocative statements of positions. CIDR values innovation, insight based on experience and vision in particular.

The Higher School of Trade in Hanover was founded in 1831 by Karl Karmarsch and consisted of only 64 students. There are today about 25,000 natural sciences and engineering students, as well as legal and economic students in humanities and social sciences. In the future, too, study, teaching and research must be pleasant and therefore the quality of education and research must be continually improved as part of the declared goals of Leibniz Universität Hannover.
