Capel Classic Car & Bike Show

The 22nd Capel Classic Car & Bike Show. To register click on the button to the right or at the bottom of this page.
Registration remains closed until we can be certain that the show can proceed. Pre-Registration will close one week before the show on Sunday 15/08/2020 at midnight or as soon as we reach the maximum nr of exhibits. All of the entries for last year’s cancelled event are carried over to this year.

We continue putting the entire show on a more sustainable footing and we hope you will be supporting us. We all enjoy our classics and collectable vehicles, but being from a bygone era, environmentally friendly they are not.

For the second time running the show will be donating 30p for every exhibit to CO2BALANCE an organisation which specialises in projects in 3rd world countries that will reduce CO2 emissions, improve living standards and health for the poorest in the world.
We’ll be giving you the opportunity to help us by adding this 30p to your donation.

he wooden tower rising from the west end of the Nave roof, with its spire of oak shingles, a common feature of Weald Churches, was renewed. It contains a peal of six bells, the oldest being cast in 1593 and inscribed “Omnia Habent Finem”; it was recast by Mears and Stainbank in 1951. The bells were rehung in 1951, and rededicated by the Bishop of Guildford on 5th August 1951.In 1968 a further extensive restoration of the Church was carried out with substantial help from the Mortimer family. In 2007 the Church was reordered providing a fully functioning kitchen in the old vestry and a modern disabled toilet. A new vestry was constructed at the west end of the north aisle with a unique wooden screen partition. A section of pews in the north aisle were removed to provide a more flexible meeting area.
