A technical organisation, which has an interest in all aspects of RF testing and measures in microwaves, is the Automatic Radio Frequency Techniques Group (ARFTG). In 1972, ARFTG was created to provide end-users with the most advanced testing and measuring equipment in the latest generation. The focus in the early years was on the automation and calibration of instruments. Meanwhile, measurement technologies have changed significantly, including various topics such as nonlinear measuring, production testing, time-setting, high-frequency fixation and testing, mixed-signal measurement, mmwave and THz. The nature of the conferences reflects the wide range of ARFTG interests.
