Annual School of Nursing Oncology

The clinical care landscape across the field of oncology has evolved at a rapid pace in recent years, creating challenges in staying up-to-date on emerging therapeutics and advances in supportive care. Our expert faculty will convey the latest information on key topics in oncology that can readily be applied to your practice, whether you work in an academic center, community office, or any of a host of locations. Our faculty will discuss strategies to help you optimize patient management and provide insight into the evolving treatment landscape for a variety of different malignancies that you may encounter. As barriers to the optimal delivery of care for patients with cancer are quite common, this program is designed to answer questions in a manner that will help you to overcome those barriers. This will be an interactive experience, giving you the opportunity to engage with faculty as they share their perspectives and personal experiences on clinical challenges commonly encountered in nursing practice. This educational program is directed toward nurses interested in the management of patients with cancer. Other health care professionals interested in the management of patients with cancer are also invited to attend.
