IPC's goal is to help people better understand the importance of private capital markets in the global economy. Using objective academic research, IPC brings together academics and industry experts to generate new knowledge about private capital markets. Scholarly publications, research symposiums, and educational outreach are methods for disseminating results. The creation of new data resources that academic researchers can use is a critical part of the institute's mission. There is a significant knowledge gap in financial economics, which is filled by this effort.
