The cancellation of the Intensive Care Medicine + Intensive Care Symposium in the last two years was a heavy blow – not only for us, but also for all of you, as we were denied opportunities for a joint, professional exchange, which was sorely needed in these times. Although a certain amount of compensation can be achieved, such as with the one-day Online Special 2022, which was a success despite the short lead time, this could certainly not be an equivalent replacement for the symposium.
