10th SCAR Open Science Conference

The SCAR Open Science Conference, established 20 years ago, is the premier activity of the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR). The structure and format for the conference has evolved over the years to enhance attendees’ experiences and optimize impact. The biennial meetings have become fertile ground for the exchange of the latest and highest profile Antarctic research outcomes.

The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) was created in 1958. It is charged with initiating, developing and coordinating high quality international scientific research in the Antarctic region.
